Montmartre + Eiffel Tower + Seine River Cruise: 3 highlights of Paris

This is the ideal tour to see Paris through two great iconic symbols of the city, the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre, and to experience an incredible cruise along the Seine. Transportation to and from your hotel or accommodation in Paris is provided, allowing you to enjoy a relaxing stress-free half-day excursion.

Departure will be from the reception area of your hotel (or in front your apartment) around 1:15 p.m. Your experienced driver-guide will pick you up and take you on the tour. Along the way, he will offer a commentary on the monuments and neighborhoods of Paris.

The first stop will be at the top of the Butte Montmartre. After providing some background information, your driver-guide will give you about 45 minutes of free time to visit the Montmartre neighborhood. Make sure to see the painters, portraitists and caricaturists exhibiting their work in Place du Tetre. You will of course visit the magnificent Sacré Coeur Basilica, stroll down the picturesque streets of Montmartre, and perhaps see the famous vineyards or the distinctive Maison Rose. You will also be treated to an exceptional panoramic view of Paris: sitting on the steps, in front of the Basilica, you can admire a breathtaking view with the Eiffel Tower outlined against the sky, and Tour Montparnasse in the horizon.

After this tour of Montmartre, your driver-guide will take you to the Eiffel Tower. You will be accompanied right to the foot of the tower, where you will receive a ticket giving you access to the second floor of the Iron Lady without a long wait in line. You will then take the elevator and admire the view over all of Paris. You will be able to see all the famous monuments of Paris: la Défense, the Champ de Mars, the Trocadero, the Arc de Triomphe overlooking the Champs Elysées, Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre and its Basilica, the Louvre and the Musée d’Orsay. You will have about thirty minutes to fully appreciate this unique moment.

At the end of your free time, your guide will drive you to the Quai Branly where you will take a Bateaux Parisiens cruise. With traditional French music in the background, you will listen to an audio guide commentary on the Paris landmarks along the Seine and the splendid bridges that grace this Parisian river. From the Eiffel Tower to the Cité de la Mode, you will be able to see L’Assemblée Nationale, the Musée d’Orsay, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Conciergerie, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe and the Grand Palais. This one hour tour will allow you to explore Paris in a different way.

Afterwards, around 6:15 p.m., your driver-guide will take you back to your hotel or accommodation in Paris. If you wish, you can choose to be dropped off in the center of Paris.
