Important Information for Senior Visitors and Guests with Reduced Mobility
This full-day tour involves a considerable amount of walking and prolonged standing. The Palace visit lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, during which seating is very limited. Visitors must then walk through the extensive gardens and the Trianon Estate, where distances between the Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon and Queen’s Hamlet can be significant.
Some paths are paved with cobblestones, gravel or uneven surfaces, and the itinerary may include steps. Weather conditions can also make certain areas more difficult to access.
Senior visitors and guests with reduced mobility should carefully consider their ability to:
Walk for extended periods during an approximately eight-hour excursion
Remain standing for at least 1 hour 30 minutes inside the Palace
Use stairs when lifts are unavailable or temporarily out of service
Walk on cobblestones, gravel and uneven outdoor paths
Keep pace with the guided group inside the Palace
Reach the confirmed meeting point independently and on time
The tourist train and electric carts operating inside the estate are managed separately and are subject to availability, operating schedules and additional charges. Their use cannot be guaranteed as part of this tour.

The Hall of Mirrors
Overlooking the Gardens of Versailles, the Hall of Mirrors is the most famous room in the Palace. Its mirrors, chandeliers, gilded sculptures and monumental paintings were intended to demonstrate the prestige and wealth of the French monarchy.
The gallery witnessed royal ceremonies, diplomatic receptions and several major historical events. It was also the setting for the signing of the Treaty of Versailles in 1919.
Reserved Entrance to Versailles
The tour includes reserved timed admission and access through the entrance dedicated to organised guided groups. This makes arrival easier and avoids the standard ticket-purchase line.
However, every visitor must pass through compulsory security screening. Some waiting may still occur, especially during weekends, public holidays and the high season. Reserved admission should therefore not be understood as an exemption from Palace

After the guided Palace visit, enjoy free time in the formal French Gardens designed by André Le Nôtre. The gardens form an essential part of the Versailles experience and were created as a continuation of the Palace itself.
Long perspectives, ornamental pools, sculptures, fountains and carefully arranged flowerbeds extend across the Royal Estate. Because of its considerable size, it is advisable to select the areas you most wish to see rather than attempt to visit the entire garden.
On selected dates from spring to autumn, admission may include the Musical Gardens or Musical Fountains programme. These events follow the official Versailles calendar and do not operate every day.

Visit the Trianon Estate
The full-day itinerary allows you to continue to the Trianon Estate, where the Royal Family escaped the formal ceremonies and constant observation of Court life.
The Grand Trianon was commissioned by Louis XIV as a more intimate royal retreat. Its elegant pink marble architecture and peaceful gardens provide a striking contrast to the grandeur of the main Palace.
The Petit Trianon is closely associated with Marie-Antoinette, who used it as a private residence away from the strict etiquette of Versailles. Nearby, Marie-Antoinette’s Estate and the Queen’s Hamlet reveal a more personal and picturesque side of royal life.
The Trianon Estate is normally explored independently. Access to individual buildings and outdoor areas depends on official opening schedules, seasonal conditions and temporary closures.
