Physical Requirements and Reduced Mobility

This is an extensive full-day tour involving approximately 4.5 hours of guided visits and considerable walking throughout the Palace, Gardens and Trianon Estate.
Participants must be able to:
* Remain standing during the approximately 1.5-hour Palace visit
* Walk for extended periods during the afternoon tour
* Keep pace with the guided group
* Walk on cobblestones, gravel paths and uneven outdoor surfaces
* Use steps when lifts are unavailable or temporarily out of service

This tour may not be suitable for visitors with significant walking difficulties, those who cannot remain standing for extended periods or guests who require continuous personal assistance.
Senior visitors should assess their physical condition rather than age alone before booking. Guests requiring assistance must travel with a companion able to help them throughout the day. The guide cannot provide individual mobility assistance without delaying the rest of the group.

This standard tour is not wheelchair accessible. If you have mobility or health concerns, please contact Paris Webservices before booking. A shorter, semi-private or private Versailles tour may be more appropriate.

Punctuality

Please be ready at the confirmed pickup or meeting point at the time indicated on your booking confirmation.
For hotel and apartment pickups, please wait outside the main entrance of the building. For meeting-point departures, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the confirmed departure time.

Versailles admission is reserved for a specific time, and the tour cannot be delayed for late arrivals. Late arrivals and missed pickups are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Participants must also return to the designated meeting point at the time indicated by the guide or driver. The vehicle cannot wait beyond the authorised pickup period.

Crowds and Group Organisation

The Palace of Versailles can be extremely busy, particularly during weekends, French public holidays and the high season.
The guide must follow the Palace’s reserved schedule and maintain the agreed pace of the tour. Participants must remain with the group during all guided sections and follow the guide’s instructions.
The guide cannot provide continuous individual assistance to one participant without affecting the experience and schedule of the entire group.

Reserved Timed Admission

The tour includes reserved timed admission through the entrance dedicated to organised groups.
However, every visitor must pass through compulsory security screening. Waiting may still occur, especially during busy periods. Reserved admission does not allow visitors to bypass Palace security controls.

Identity Documents and Reduced-Rate Tickets

All participants must be declared when booking, including children and visitors eligible for free or reduced admission.
A valid passport or official identity document may be required to confirm the visitor’s name, age or eligibility for a preferential rate. Access may be refused or an additional ticket may need to be purchased if the required proof cannot be presented.

Tickets and Transportation

Entrance tickets and round-trip transportation from Paris are included.
Transportation is organised in comfortable air-conditioned minivans, with a maximum of eight passengers per vehicle. At Versailles, participants join the same guided group, limited to a maximum of 20 guests.

Your booking voucher is not an entrance ticket and cannot be used for direct admission to the Palace. It must first be presented to the Paris Webservices driver, representative or guide according to the instructions provided in your confirmation.

This tour includes approximately 4.5 hours with a licensed professional guide:

Unlike tours that leave visitors to explore the Trianon Estate independently, this experience includes a guided afternoon visit.

Lunch Break

A break of approximately 1 to 1.5 hours is provided between the morning and afternoon guided visits.
Lunch, food and drinks are not included. Your guide can indicate available cafés, restaurants or takeaway options according to the time available.
During weekends and the high season, restaurants may be busy. A light or relatively quick lunch is recommended to ensure that you are ready for the afternoon departure.

Afternoon Trianon Visit

The afternoon route normally includes:

From spring to autumn, the Palace of Versailles organises the Musical Fountains Show and Musical Gardens on selected dates.

## Musical Fountains Show

On scheduled dates, selected fountains operate to music according to the official Versailles programme. Not every fountain operates continuously or simultaneously, and individual displays follow specific opening times.

## Musical Gardens

On scheduled Musical Gardens dates, baroque music is played in selected areas, and certain groves may be opened to visitors.
Admission to the programme operating on the date of your visit is included in this tour. Dates, fountain displays, opening times and programme content are determined exclusively by the Palace of Versailles and may change without prior notice.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARIS TRAFFIC

Traffic between Paris and Versailles can significantly affect journey times. Depending on traffic conditions, each transfer may take from approximately 45 minutes to more than one hour.
To reduce unnecessary travel inside Paris, hotel and residence pickups are limited to designated districts in central and western Paris. If your accommodation is outside the pickup area, you must select one of the proposed central meeting points.

Transportation may involve several minivans, each carrying a maximum of eight passengers. All participants then join the same guided group at Versailles.
The precise return time to Paris cannot be guaranteed. Please do not schedule a train, flight, theatre performance or another timed activity immediately after the tour.
Depending on the selected booking option and operational conditions, return may be provided to your hotel or to a designated location near the Eiffel Tower or Champs-Élysées. Please check the transportation option shown on your booking confirmation.

## Comfortable Clothing and Shoes

Comfortable walking shoes are essential. The tour includes extensive walking over marble floors, cobblestones, gravel paths and uneven outdoor surfaces.
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather. The afternoon visit takes place partly outdoors and normally continues in light rain.

## Travel Light

Large bags, suitcases and luggage are not accepted on the tour. Storage space inside the minivans is limited, and some items may not be permitted inside the Palace.
There is no guaranteed cloakroom service for tour participants. Please leave unnecessary belongings at your hotel.
Restrictions concerning umbrellas, strollers and other personal items are determined by the Palace of Versailles and may change for security or operational reasons.

## Personal Belongings

The Palace and Gardens of Versailles can be crowded. Keep your phone, wallet, passport and other valuables secure at all times.
Paris Webservices cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost, stolen or left inside the vehicle.

## Audio Equipment

Audio receivers and wired earpieces are provided when required so that participants can hear the guide clearly.
You may bring your own wired earphones with a standard 3.5 mm connector. Bluetooth and USB-C earphones are not compatible with the tour audio system.

## Children

The minimum recommended age for this full-day tour is six years because of its duration, extensive walking and prolonged guided visits.
All children must be declared at the time of booking, including those eligible for free admission. A passport or official identity document may be required to confirm the child’s age.
Children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult throughout the tour and must be able to follow the group’s walking pace.

## Food and Drinks in the Vehicle

Food and drinks may not be consumed inside the minivan. Only still water in a securely closed bottle is permitted.

This tour is organised and operated by Paris Webservices, a Paris-based travel agency with more than 20 years of experience arranging guided visits and transportation to Versailles.

Tour Details:

Departure from your Hotel or Residence in Paris:

• Morning Tour: From 8:15 am to 9:30 am

Return from Versailles:

• From April to October (Afternoon Tour): Around 5:00 pm
• Your driver will pick you up at the same place where you were dropped off in the morning at 5 pm. Please be punctual, we limit the waiting time to 10 minutes.

Departure from Paris:
We only serve clients staying in the following West Paris districts: 16, 15, 14, 7, 8, 6, and select parts of district 1,2,17. For clients staying outside of these areas, please select the central meeting point in Paris.

• No cancellation fee. A full refund will be issued.
2. Cancellations made 24 hours or less before the scheduled start time (Paris time):
• A 100% cancellation fee applies.
• Such cancellations will be treated as a no-show.

Important Information for Individual Bookings
• Tour Interruption: If a participant chooses to leave or interrupt the tour once it has started, no refund will be issued.
• Late Arrival: Participants arriving after the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show. No refund or rescheduling will be possible, regardless of the reason.
• Last-Minute Changes: Due to advance scheduling and guide commitments, last-minute cancellations cannot be accommodated.
• Uncertain Availability: If you are unsure about your schedule or travel plans, we strongly recommend not booking until your plans are confirmed.
• Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as illness, emergencies, or transportation disruptions.
• Time Zone Responsibility: Clients are responsible for ensuring they respect Paris local time (CET/CEST). Missed tours due to time zone confusion or scheduling errors are non-refundable.
• Organizer’s Rights: We reserve the right to modify or cancel a tour if necessary due to safety concerns, force majeure, or operational reasons. In such cases, an alternative date or a full refund will be offered.
• Reservation Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation email from us within 48 hours of booking.

1. Cancellations made more than 7 days before the scheduled start time (Paris time):
• Full refund.
2. Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the scheduled start time (Paris time):
• 50% cancellation fee applies.
3. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time (Paris time):
• 100% cancellation fee applies.
• Such cancellations will be treated as a no-show.

Advance Payment Requirement
• Reservations require advance payment to be confirmed. Payments can be made using MasterCard or VISA through our secure online platform.
Secure Payment System (SSL)
• Your bank card details are encrypted (up to 128 bits) using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and are never transmitted unencrypted over the internet. Payment will remain on hold until the services are confirmed.
3D Secure Payment System
To protect against online fraud, Visa and MasterCard employ a 3D Secure payment system:

2. Authenticate your identity via a one-time code sent by your bank (via SMS).
3. Complete your payment. Once validated, you will receive a confirmation email.
