Join a local guide to explore this charming lesser-known area of Paris that combines the charm of Paris’ most bohemian neighbourhood & local hangouts with delicious food and wine. Meet your guide by the Pantheon, in the heart of the Latin Quartier, the University district of Paris before heading to the Jardins du Luxembourg, possibly the most beautiful and romantic garden in Paris. Continue to the area of Saint-Germain to find out where the enigmatic Lost Generation was hanging out! Spot the places where Hemingway, Fitzgerald, James Joyce or Picasso where spending their time and contributed to turn this area into one of the most bohemian in Paris. Despite rising prices and gentrification, Saint-Germain has managed to retain its irresistible, artistic charm. There we’ll stop for our first food break in an iconic bakery/chocolate store to taste a butter-filled cake from Brittany. After a few glances in some of Paris’ cutest streets and passages, we’ll wander along the peaceful embankments of the Seine River, before we’ll stop at a traditional wine store where you can sample a typical French specialty. From here we’ll move to the beautiful surrounding square, the oldest in Paris, to play a game of bocci balls, known here as “petanque”. Learn how to play this fun game originated from Southern France but played in every corner of the country. Couple the playing with a glass of wine of Pastis, to enhance your skills! After our game we go towards the vibrant Saint-Michel hood, one of the best-preserved medieval area and formerly the butcher’s quarter of Paris. No more butchers today but kebab shops and tourist waves! We’ll take a peek into Paris’ most iconic English bookshop, nestled in a medieval house packed to the ceiling with books. Finally we’ll finish by the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, the centre of Paris and as the Parisian say, of the world!

Any interruption of the tour or service during its delivery, at the client's wishes, shall not give rise to any refund. Any customer who arrives after the start time of the excursion shall be considered a "no show" and not refunded, whatever the reason for the lateness. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify certain tours without notice if the passengers' comfort or safety so requires in case of force majeure, strike, demonstration, administrative decision or exceptional closure...
