TRADITIONAL_CUISINE
Open since June 2002 on the banks of the Seine between the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Élysées, this restaurant has become the Parisian address where tradition and creativity dance together without conflict. Chef Jérôme Gangneux, who spent years as the right hand to greatness, moved into his own space and has spent over two decades proving his instincts were sound. His wife Cathy works the room with genuine warmth, greeting guests personally and ensuring every table feels like home.
The kitchen moves through cuisine that respects French tradition while accepting modern influence. Raw tuna tataki with sesame, chickpea, radish, pickled lime. Pressed crab meat with avocado, guacamole, curry flavor. Foie gras duo with sundried tomato, Madagascar pepper, vinegar caramel. Steamed vegetable ravioli with shiso, sumac, light coconut broth. Grilled cod with conchiglies pasta, clams and cockles in iodized sorrel emulsion. Sea bream fillet with fennel, lemon, Camargue black rice, vanilla. The desserts carry the same philosophy: care in execution, respect for ingredients, a touch of surprise.
The room itself becomes part of the experience. Luminous at lunch from large patio doors. Intimate at dinner with a view of the Eiffel Tower that needs no introduction. The sommelier guides thoughtfully. The service arrives attentive without hovering. This is the restaurant that understands how to honor both tradition and contemporaneity without sacrificing either. Open daily except Saturday and Sunday lunch. Closed two weeks in August.
