Physical Requirements and Reduced Mobility

This full-day experience involves considerable walking and prolonged standing. The Palace and guided garden visit lasts approximately 2.5 hours, during which seating opportunities are very limited.
Visitors wishing to explore the Trianon Estate must then walk additional distances during their independent time. The entire Versailles Estate is extensive, and some routes include marble floors, cobblestones, gravel paths, steps and uneven outdoor surfaces.
Participants must be able to:
• Remain standing during the guided Palace visit
• Walk for extended periods
• Keep pace with the semi-private group
• Use steps when lifts are unavailable or temporarily out of service
• Walk independently through the gardens and Trianon Estate

This tour may not be suitable for visitors with significant walking difficulties, those who cannot remain standing for extended periods or guests requiring continuous personal assistance.
Senior visitors should assess their physical condition rather than age alone before booking. Guests requiring assistance must travel with a companion able to help them throughout the day.
This standard tour is not wheelchair accessible. If you have mobility concerns, please contact Paris Webservices before booking. A shorter or private Versailles tour may be more appropriate.

Punctuality

Please be ready at the confirmed pickup or meeting point at the time shown on your booking confirmation.
For hotel or apartment pickups, please wait outside the main entrance of the building. For meeting-point departures, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the confirmed departure time. Versailles admission is reserved for a specific time, and the tour cannot be delayed for late arrivals. Late arrivals and missed pickups are considered no-shows and are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

Group Organisation

Transportation is limited to eight passengers per minivan. Depending on the number of participants, transportation may be organised using more than one vehicle. Upon arrival at Versailles, participants join the same guided group, limited to a maximum of 11 guests.
The Palace can be extremely busy. Participants must remain with the guide, respect the scheduled itinerary and follow the pace of the group during the guided visit.

Reserved Timed Admission

The tour includes reserved timed admission through the dedicated group entrance. All visitors must pass through compulsory Palace security screening. Waiting may still occur during weekends, public holidays and the high season. Reserved timed admission does not mean that compulsory security controls can be bypassed.

Tickets and Voucher

Entrance tickets and transportation are included in the tour package.
Your booking voucher is not an entrance ticket and cannot be used for direct admission to the Palace. It must first be presented to the Paris Webservices driver, representative or guide according to the instructions provided in your confirmation.

Identity Documents

All participants must be declared when booking, including children and visitors eligible for free or reduced admission.
A valid passport or official identity document may be required to confirm a visitor’s name, age or eligibility for a preferential rate. An additional ticket may need to be purchased if the required proof cannot be presented.

Comfortable Shoes
Comfortable walking shoes are essential. The tour includes marble floors, cobblestones, gravel paths and uneven outdoor surfaces.
Weather
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather. The independent afternoon visit takes place mainly outdoors and normally continues in light rain.
Travel Light
Large bags, suitcases and luggage are not accepted on the tour. Storage space inside the minivans is limited, and certain items may not be permitted inside the Palace.
There is no guaranteed cloakroom service for tour participants. Please leave unnecessary belongings at your hotel.
Restrictions concerning umbrellas, strollers and other personal items are determined by the Palace of Versailles and may change for security or operational reasons.
Personal Belongings
The Palace and gardens can be crowded. Keep your wallet, telephone, passport and other valuables secure at all times.
Paris Webservices cannot accept responsibility for belongings that are lost, stolen or left inside the vehicle.
Children
All children must be declared at the time of booking, including those eligible for free admission. A passport or official identity document may be required to confirm the child’s age.
Children must remain under the supervision of their accompanying adult and must be able to follow the walking pace of the group.

Is the tour limited to eight or 11 guests?
Each minivan carries a maximum of eight passengers. At Versailles, participants join the same semi-private guided group, limited to a maximum of 11 guests.

Is the entire day guided?
No. The Palace and selected areas of the gardens are visited with a professional guide for approximately 2.5 hours. The lunch break and Trianon Estate visit are independent.

Are the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon included?
Yes. Admission to the Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon and Marie-Antoinette’s Estate is included. These sites are visited independently.

Is the Queen’s Hamlet included?
Yes. Access to the Queen’s Hamlet is included, subject to official opening conditions and temporary closures.

Is lunch included?
No. Lunch, food and drinks are not included. Approximately four hours are provided for lunch and independent exploration.

Does the tour include skip-the-line admission?
The tour includes reserved timed admission through the organised-group entrance. All visitors must still pass through compulsory security screening.
Is hotel pickup included?
Hotel or residence pickup is included when the accommodation is located within the designated Paris service area. Otherwise, a central meeting point will be proposed.

Is the tourist train included?
No. The tourist train, bicycles and electric carts are operated separately and are available at an additional cost, subject to availability.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
No. The standard itinerary is not wheelchair accessible and involves extensive walking, prolonged standing and uneven surfaces. Please contact Paris Webservices before booking if you have mobility concerns.

What time does the tour return to Paris?
The expected return time is shown on your booking confirmation. The precise arrival time cannot be guaranteed because it depends on traffic between Versailles and Paris.

• Tour Interruption: If a participant leaves the tour after it has started, no refund will be issued.
• Time Zone Responsibility: All times are based on Paris local time (CET/CEST). Missed tours due to time zone confusion are non-refundable.
• Force Majeure: In case of force majeure or safety concerns, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a tour. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
• Reservation Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only once a confirmation email has been issued.

• Interruption of Tour or Service: If a group interrupts the tour or service during its delivery, no refund will be provided for the unused portion.
