Morning – Paris to Versailles
Your day begins in Paris with pickup or departure from the selected meeting point. You will travel by air-conditioned minivan to the Palace of Versailles. Because traffic between Paris and Versailles can vary considerably, we recommend choosing a meeting point in western Paris whenever possible. This helps reduce travel time and ensures arrival in Versailles before your scheduled guided visit.

Versailles – Guided Palace Visit

On arrival at Versailles, you will meet your licensed guide and enter the Palace at the reserved time. The guided visit lasts approximately "2 hours" and may include up to "20 participants". During the visit, you will discover the State Apartments, Royal Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors while learning about Louis XIV, the French monarchy and the history of Versailles.

Versailles Gardens

After the guided palace visit, you will have time to explore the formal French gardens. Depending on the date of your visit, access may include the **Musical Gardens or Musical Fountains Show**. These programs operate according to the official Palace of Versailles seasonal calendar.

Lunch or Snack

Before departing for Giverny, you will have free time to purchase lunch or a snack at your own expense.

You will then travel through the French countryside to Giverny. The Giverny portion of the tour is operated as a **small-group experience with a maximum of 8 participants**.

Explore Claude Monet’s house and gardens at your own pace. Visit the Clos Normand flower garden, Monet’s house and the famous water garden with its Japanese bridge and water lily pond.

Return to Paris

A "good level of physical fitness is recommended" for this full-day tour. The experience involves several hours of walking and standing, particularly inside the Palace of Versailles where visitors must follow the guide and respect scheduled entrance times. The tour is **not wheelchair accessible** and may not be suitable for travelers with reduced mobility, significant walking difficulties, serious back problems, heart conditions or other medical issues that could make prolonged walking and standing difficult. Versailles can be extremely crowded, and the guide cannot provide individual physical assistance during the visit. If you have mobility or health concerns, we recommend carefully considering whether this tour is suitable before booking.

Traffic conditions between Paris and Versailles can vary and occasionally result in journeys of more than one hour. For this reason, Paris Webservices limits hotel pickup to selected areas of Paris and recommends western Paris meeting points whenever possible. Meeting near the **Eiffel Tower or another western Paris location** can reduce unnecessary driving through central Paris and help protect the reserved entrance time at Versailles. Return times to Paris are approximate and may vary according to traffic.

Bags, Strollers & Umbrellas

For security reasons, large bags and luggage are not permitted inside the Palace of Versailles. We recommend bringing only a small bag or backpack. Strollers may be restricted in certain areas of the Palace. Large umbrellas may also be refused, so a **small foldable umbrella** is recommended in case of rain.

Musical Fountains & Musical Gardens

During the main season, the Palace of Versailles organizes **Musical Fountains Shows and Musical Gardens** on selected days. These programs allow visitors to experience the gardens with baroque music and, on Musical Fountains days, selected fountains operating throughout the estate. Programs, operating days and fountain schedules are determined by the Palace of Versailles and may change from year to year. The applicable garden experience depends on the official schedule for the date of your visit.

  Hotel pick-up is available for guests staying in Paris districts 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15 and 16, as well as selected hotels in districts 2, 9, 14 and 17.
  For groups of more than 5 participants, pick-up may be available from other Paris districts.
  Please provide your complete hotel or Airbnb address when booking so we can confirm whether your accommodation is within our pick-up area.

Versailles & Giverny with Meeting Point

If your accommodation is outside our regular pick-up area, or if you prefer a simpler departure, you can join the tour from one of our selected meeting points in Paris.
Our meeting points are strategically located in easily accessible areas, particularly in western and central Paris, with convenient access by metro or taxi.
Your exact meeting point and meeting time will be confirmed in your reservation email.

Paris Webservices may modify or cancel a tour due to safety concerns, force majeure, monument closures or operational circumstances. If we cancel your service and cannot provide a suitable alternative, a **full refund** will be offered.
