A Small-Group Transfer from Your Paris Hotel

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or residence in our designated Paris pickup area. Transportation is provided in a comfortable minivan with a maximum of eight passengers, offering a more personal and convenient journey from Paris to Versailles.

Upon arrival at the Château de Versailles, your driver will direct you to the designated entrance, where you will meet your professional guide.

Please note that the transportation from Paris is limited to eight passengers, while the guided Palace visit may include up to 25 participants.

Reserved Group Entrance to the Palace of Versailles

Your timed reservation provides access through the dedicated entrance for organised guided groups. This considerably simplifies your arrival, although waiting may still occur at the security checkpoint, especially during weekends, public holidays and the high season.

The term “skip-the-line” refers to reserved admission and does not allow visitors to bypass the compulsory security controls.

Step beyond the principal visitor route and enter rooms associated with the monarch’s private life. The King’s Private Apartments were used for more personal activities, private audiences and daily life away from the highly formal ceremonies of the Royal Court.

Accompanied by an expert guide, you will discover the function of these lesser-known rooms and hear stories about Louis XV, Louis XVI, the Royal Family and the courtiers who lived at Versailles.

Access to individual rooms may occasionally be modified by the Palace of Versailles because of official events, restoration work or operational requirements.

The visit continues through the magnificent State Apartments, which represented the public and ceremonial face of the French monarchy. These richly decorated rooms were used to receive members of the Court, foreign ambassadors and distinguished guests.

Your guide will explain how Versailles became the centre of royal power and how daily life at Court was governed by ceremony, hierarchy and strict etiquette.

After the guided Palace visit, continue independently through the formal French Gardens designed by André Le Nôtre. Discover their carefully arranged perspectives, ornamental fountains, sculptures, terraces and geometrically designed flowerbeds.

On selected dates between spring and autumn, your garden admission may include the Musical Gardens or Musical Fountains programme. These programmes are organised according to the official Versailles calendar and do not operate every day.

Comfortable footwear is strongly recommended, as the Palace and gardens cover an extensive area and require prolonged walking and standing.

Return Transportation to Paris

At the end of your free time, your driver will meet you at the designated pickup location in Versailles at approximately 5:00 p.m.

You will then travel back to Paris in your minivan. Drop-off is provided at your hotel or residence when it is located within our designated service area and traffic conditions permit.

Paris arrival times cannot be guaranteed because journey duration depends on traffic between Versailles and the capital.

Important Visitor Information

The King’s Private Apartments are protected historic spaces. Their accessibility and opening conditions are determined exclusively by the Palace of Versailles. The itinerary may therefore be adapted without prior notice because of official ceremonies, restoration work, security measures or exceptional closures.

All visitors must pass through compulsory security screening. Large bags, suitcases and luggage are not permitted during the tour. The experience involves several hours of walking and standing and may not be suitable for visitors with significantly reduced mobility.

If the tour is available, we will confirm within 1 business day and your credit card will be charged 100% of the cost of the tour, show, or other services (including tax), plus the booking fee indicated, if any. This amount will be debited in Euros. The rates shown include all taxes and VAT.

Any interruption of the tour or service during its delivery, at the client's request, shall not give rise to any refund. Any customer who arrives after the start time of the excursion shall be considered a "no show" and not refunded, whatever the reason for their tardiness. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify certain tours without notice if the client’s comfort or safety so requires.
