It also allows you to avoid taking the train to Caen or Bayeux. While our service may be slightly more expensive, once you consider taxi transfers, train tickets, and logistics, you ultimately save time and travel in far greater comfort.
Upon arrival, enjoy approximately 2 hours of free time to explore the historic town and have lunch at your leisure.
At 12:30 PM, you will meet your private local Normandy guide and continue the afternoon in the guide’s vehicle, ideal for visiting the D-Day sites with flexibility and depth.
Unlike many companies that rely on a driver-guide for the entire day, which can be demanding and tiring and may impact both safety and guiding quality, we organize the day differently. Your morning driver handles the long-distance transfer from Paris, while your local guide—who also drives for short distances between sites—leads the visit. This ensures a safer, more comfortable, and higher-quality experience.

Please be ready on time at the meeting point (in front of your hotel). Late arrivals will result in a missed tour and no refund will be issued. No delays can be accommodated.

Comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended, as several sites involve uneven terrain and walking.

Important Notice for Senior Travelers
This tour is not recommended for elderly travelers with limited mobility.
The itinerary involves significant walking, uneven terrain, and standing at several historical sites.
The minivan does not have a large luggage compartment, and storage space is limited.
Due to the long travel day and site layout, this experience is not suitable for guests planning to use the train independently, as logistics would be very difficult to manage.
We strongly recommend this tour only for guests who are comfortable walking for extended periods and able to manage a full, active day of sightseeing.

Due to very high demand for all tours in Normandy and the need to secure local guides and services well in advance, the following cancellation policy strictly applies:
More than 15 days before departure: free cancellation
- Between 14 and 8 days before departure: 25% of the total
- Between 7 days and 48 hours before departure: 50% of the total
- Less than 48 hours before departure or no-show: 100% of the total
This policy reflects the conditions imposed by our local partners, as availability in Normandy is limited and highly requested.
Additional conditions:
In case of cancellation, refunds are processed on the 10th of each month, in line with our monthly accounting cycle and payments to local suppliers.
We kindly ask all clients to carefully review these conditions before booking, as reservations block limited and high-demand availability.
Minimum Number of Participants
This experience requires a minimum of 4 participants.
If the minimum number is not reached 10 days prior to departure (D-10), Paris Webservices reserves the right to cancel the tour.
In this case, you will be offered an alternative date, another tour, or a full refund.
Advance payment is required to validate your reservation. Payments on this site can only be made by using MASTERCARD or VISA, through our secured Internet pages. Payment stays on hold until the services are confirmed:

Any interruption of the tour or service during its delivery, at the client's request, shall not give rise to any refund.
