• Challenging Terrain: Due to uneven surfaces, this tour may be difficult for those with walking difficulties. Participants must be able to follow the guide for approximately 2-3 hours.
• Crowded Environment: The Palace of Versailles is often crowded, and we must strictly adhere to the scheduled visiting times. Guides will not be able to provide individual assistance. If you have any health concerns or walking difficulties, we strongly suggest reconsidering your participation to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
• Priority Access: While this tour includes priority access with a reserved time slot, entry may still be delayed due to the Palace’s security procedures.
• Age-Specific Rates: For preferential rates, proof of identity is required. Access may be denied in the event of non-compliance with age limits.
• Accessibility: Access to the palace can be challenging for visitors with reduced mobility.
• Tickets and Transport:

HALF-DAY TOUR SPECIFIC INFORMATION

For participants in the Half-Day Tour, please note the following:
• No Time for Golf Cars or Trianon Visits: Renting a golf car or visiting the Grand Trianon or Petit Trianon is not possible during the half-day tour. These activities would disrupt your schedule and result in missed return transportation.
• Focus on Main Areas: The half-day tour is designed to cover the Palace and provide some free time to explore the gardens. We recommend staying close to the main attractions and adhering to the planned schedule.

SEASONAL GARDEN SHOWS

From April to October, the gardens of Versailles offer two special events that enhance your visit:
• Musical Fountains Show:
o Days: Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and select Tuesdays (specific dates apply).
o Description: Enjoy the fountains brought to life with spectacular water displays synchronized to classical music from the era of Louis XIV. Key highlights include the Neptune Fountain and the Latona Fountain.
• Musical Gardens Show:
o Days: Most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
o Description: Stroll through the gardens accompanied by baroque music. Some groves, usually closed to the public, are opened specially for this occasion, creating a serene and delightful experience.
Note: Both events are included in your tour ticket for this package. For the Musical Fountains Show on Tuesdays, check specific dates during your visit.

TRAFFIC IN PARIS

Please note that traffic between Paris and Versailles can sometimes extend travel times to over an hour. To optimize your journey:
• Pickups: Our pickups are limited to the western part of Paris and select districts to reduce long vehicle trips and avoid delays.
• Departure to Versailles: We recommend choosing a meeting point in the western part of Paris. This allows the driver sufficient time to reach Versailles and ensures you arrive on schedule for your guided visit.
• Return to Paris: If your final destination is in central or eastern Paris, consider selecting a return meeting point in the western part of the city (e.g., near the Eiffel Tower). From there, you can conveniently use the metro to reach your destination.

• Comfortable Shoes: There will be some walking during the tour, including cobblestone streets, so it’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

• No Cloakroom: There are no cloakroom services at the sites, so it’s best to travel light and leave unnecessary items at your hotel.
• Stay Alert: Be mindful of your personal belongings to avoid pickpockets in crowded areas, such as the Palace and gardens.
• Health Considerations: If you have back problems, difficulty walking, or other health issues, we recommend reconsidering this tour as the Palace grounds are extensive, and guides cannot provide personal assistance.
• Access Delays: On peak days, security checks may slow down access, even with a reserved time slot.
Your guide will provide an audio phone and wired headphones to enhance your experience. If you prefer, you may bring your own wired headphones (standard 3.5mm jack, not Bluetooth-compatible).

Our tours are unfortunately not suitable for elderly guests or participants with walking difficulties. We wish to be completely transparent so that our guests are fully informed before making a booking.

When your driver drops you off at Versailles, there is a walk of approximately 100 meters from the drop-off point to the main entrance, and the same distance again on the return. The guided visit itself lasts about three hours and requires continuous walking, often at a steady pace to follow the guide. During this time, guests will encounter uneven cobblestone paths, large courtyards, and several staircases both inside and outside the palace. The estate of Versailles is vast, and due to time constraints it is not possible to stop frequently for individual rest breaks.

In addition, visitors should be aware that Versailles is often extremely crowded, especially during peak seasons. The combination of large groups, limited seating, and summer heat can create very uncomfortable conditions for guests who are not fully prepared.

This is why we clearly state on our website that our tours are not suitable for guests with reduced mobility or health concerns related to prolonged standing or walking. However, despite this warning, some visitors still proceed with a booking, sometimes ignoring these restrictions. While we cannot forbid anyone from joining our tours, we have unfortunately had situations where guests experienced serious difficulties during the visit and later requested refunds. Please understand that in such cases, refunds cannot be provided, as the accessibility limitations and potential discomforts are made clear before booking.

If accessibility is required, we warmly recommend booking directly with the Palace of Versailles. The staff on site are experienced in assisting visitors with limited mobility, and wheelchairs are available on request. This ensures a more comfortable and enjoyable visit adapted to your needs

1. Cancellations up to 2 days (48 hours) before the event:
• No cancellation fee will be charged.
2. Cancellations within 48 hours of the event:
• A 100% cancellation fee applies. Any cancellation during this period will be considered a "no-show."

• Interruption of Tour or Service: If a client interrupts the tour or service during its delivery, no refund will be provided.
• Last-Minute Cancellations: Due to high demand for our expert guides, we are unable to accommodate last-minute cancellations. Please plan ahead to avoid any issues.
• Late Arrivals: Customers arriving after the tour has started will be considered a "no-show." No refunds or rescheduling will be offered, regardless of the reason.
• Uncertainty in Plans: If you are unsure about your availability or plans, we strongly advise against booking. Our policy is strict, and last-minute cancellations are disruptive to operations and guide availability.
• Travel Insurance Recommended: To protect your investment, we recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers unexpected events, such as illness, emergencies, or travel disruptions.
• Time Zone Awareness: Be mindful of time zone differences to avoid delays or missed tours. Refunds will not be provided for missed tours due to time management errors.
• Organizer Rights: We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours without prior notice if necessary for the comfort or safety of participants.

3D Secure Payment System
To protect against online fraud, Visa and MasterCard employ a 3D Secure payment system:
