Do you offer private transfers?
Yes, we offer private transfers within Paris and the surrounding region, including hotel-to-hotel and point-to-point services related to your tours.
We do not provide airport or train-station transfers.
Do you transport luggage?
Yes — but only for long-distance or point-to-point transfers.
Luggage is not allowed during tours, and guides or drivers cannot store bags.
Are there any age restrictions for the tours?
Children
- Museum tours: recommended forages 6+
- Giverny: suitable from3 years old
Children must remain supervised and behave respectfully.
Guests with health or mobility issues
Tours often require significant walking, stairs, uneven surfaces, and strict timed-entry schedules.
Guests with mobility or health limitations should avoid demanding tours.
Mutual respect
All guests must follow guide instructions and maintain respectful behavior.
Do I need to bring an ID for the tour?
Yes — all guests must bring a valid ID, especially for museum and monument entries.
Accepted identification
· Passport
· National identity card
· A clear copy (paper or digital) is accepted
For minors (under 18)
A passport or ID (original or copy) is required to:
· verify age,
· validate reduced or free entries,
· comply with museum regulations.
Museums such as the Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Orangerie, and Versailles Palace may request age verification.
Without ID, the venue may refuse the free rate or require a full-price ticket.
Please ensure every guest — including children — has an ID or copy available.
How far in advance should I book a tour?
Book 1–2 weeks in advance, and earlier from April–October.
Reasons:
- minivans haveonly 7–8 seats,
- we can perform only4 pickups per vehicle,
- timed-entry tickets sell out fast,
- once tickets & transport are assigned, we cannot add participants.
Are solo travelers welcome?
Yes — on:
- walking tours
- museum tours
- meeting-point tours
Transport + pickup tours require 2 guests minimum due to vehicle logistics.
Are the tours physically demanding ?
Varies by tour. Museum tours require standing & walking; outdoor tours may involve slopes, uneven ground, and stairs.
Can I participate in a tour if I use a wheelchair?
Shared tours are not suitable.
We recommend private tours because:
- vehicles cannot store/transport wheelchairs
- guides must follow timed-entry schedules
- accessible routes involve long detours
- guides cannot assist wheelchair navigation while leading a group
Do tours run rain or shine or require a minimum of participants?
Yes — tours run in all weather conditions.
Please bring:
- foldable umbrella only(large umbrellas forbidden in museums)
- raincoat
- waterproof shoes
Some tours require a minimum of 3 participants.
If not reached, we offer a new date, alternative tour, or refund.
How can I cancel or modify my booking?

Deadlines:
- Group tours → 48h
- Transport-only → 48h
- Private tours w/ tickets → 7 days
After deadlines → no changes or refunds.
When do I pay for the tours?
Payment is required at booking.
We do not store credit card details.
Are tickets included in the price of the tour?
Each tour page clearly states what is included.
What time should I arrive for my tour?
Arrive 10–15 minutes early.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be considered no-show.
How will I recognize my guide?
Your guide will:
- hold a sign withParis Webservices, your name, or the tour name, or
- contact you by phone.
Toggle Can I reschedule my tour?
Yes — if within the cancellation window:
- Group tours → 48h
- Transport-only → 48h
- Private w/ tickets → 7 days
After that → no rescheduling.
What do I do if I’m late?
Call us immediately.
However:
- 15+ minutes late =no-show
- timed-entry visits cannot wait
- missed tickets arenon-refundable
What if I have a medical issue and cannot attend the tour?
Cancellation rules apply.
We can provide documentation for travel insurance.
Can I have the entrance tickets before the tour?
In most cases, no.
For guided tours with tickets:
- you willenter the museum together with your group,
- yourguide holds all the tickets for the group,
- museums (Louvre, Orsay, Orangerie, Versailles, etc.) requiregroup entry under the guide’s responsibility,
- timed tickets are checked at the same time for the whole group.
At the meeting point, your guide:
- checks your booking,
- holds the tickets,
- and may hand you an individual ticketif required by the venue, before leading the group to the entrance.
This process is mandatory for most guided, ticketed tours.
Can I stay in the museum after the tour finishes?
It depends on the museum.
Louvre Museum & most city museums
Yes — after the guided part of your experience, you may stay inside the museum and continue exploring on your own, as long as the museum remains open.
Your guide will:
- tell you where you are in the building,
- indicate the recommended exit(s),
- and inform you of closing time.
Versailles Palace
Inside the Palace:
No — once your guided visit inside the Palace is finished, it is not possible to go back into the rooms already visited or to re-enter the Palace.
Versailles operates a one-way visitor flow and is extremely crowded, which makes moving in reverse impossible.
Gardens:
Yes — your ticket includes access to the Gardens.
From April to October, Versailles often hosts Musical Gardens or Musical Fountains events.
On these dates, the gardens require a special ticket, which is already included in your tour when applicable.
Your guide will confirm what is included on the day of your visit.
Are your tours in English?
Yes — all group tours are conducted in English only, to keep the experience consistent and clear for everyone.
Private tours
For private tours, you may request other languages such as:
- French
- Spanish
- Japanese
- and other languagesupon request, subject to guide availability.
If you need a specific language, please contact us before booking.
Where is the starting point of my tour?
The starting point depends on the type of tour you booked.
Your confirmation email always includes the exact meeting point and instructions.
1. Hotel Pickup (Selected Tours Only)
Hotel pickup is available only for hotels located in the West of Paris, within our designated pickup zone.
If your accommodation is outside this area, we will:
- inform you that pickup is not possible, and
- provide the nearestmeeting point
2. Meeting Points
Some tours start from one of our two main meeting locations:
- Champs-Élysées area
- Near the Eiffel Tower
These locations are easy to reach by metro, taxi, or rideshare.
3. Directly at Museums or Monuments
Several walking and museum tours start directly at the venue, such as:
- Louvre Museum
- Musée d’Orsay
- Orangerie Museum
- Versailles Palace
In these cases, your confirmation gives:
- the full address,
- a map or description,
- and instructions to recognize your guide.
Can I book a last-minute tour?
Generally, no.
Last-minute bookings are very difficult because:
- timed-entry tickets(Louvre, Orsay, Versailles, etc.) often sell out days or weeks in advance,
- our minivans havelimited seating (7–8 seats),
- we can makeonly 4 hotel pickups per vehicle,
- once tickets and transport are assigned, wecannot add extra guests.
We strongly recommend booking:
- at least1–2 weeks in advance,
- earlierduring April–October and during holidays.
What are the group sizes?
Group sizes depend on the venue and the type of tour.
Louvre, Musée d’Orsay, Orangerie (Premium Small Groups)
- Private tours:up to 6 guests
- Semi-private tours:up to 6 guests
These very small groups offer a more intimate experience and closer interaction with your guide.
Versailles Palace
Depending on the specific tour:
- Small group tours:up to 10 guests
- Standard group tours:up to 20 guests
- Large group tours (selected products):up to 27 guests
- Private Versailles tours:up to 10 guests maximum
Each tour page clearly indicates the maximum group size, which may vary depending on:
- the venue’s own rules,
- ticket types,
- and the style of the visit (private, semi-private, group).
Are there any extra fees when booking with Paris Webservices?
No — there are absolutely no extra booking fees when you book directly with Paris Webservices.
The price you see is the final price.
In fact, booking directly with us often gives you more advantages than reserving through third-party platforms or partners, because:
- you may benefit fromexclusive promotions or discounts,
- you may get abetter rate when booking several tours or services together,
- you deal with usdirectly, which means faster assistance and clearer communication,
- there areno hidden platform commissions added on top.
Whenever possible, we recommend booking directly on our website to get the best value and flexibility.
Can I bring my pet on the tour?
No — pets are not allowed on any of our tours.
This restriction applies to:
- museum tours,
- walking tours,
- day trips,
- group and private tours,
- tours with transportation.
Museums, monuments, and our transportation services do not accept animals for safety and regulatory reasons.
Are gratuities included?
No — gratuities (tips) are not included in our prices.
Tips are optional, but always appreciated by guides and drivers if you enjoyed your experience
Do I need to print my tickets?
No — mobile tickets are accepted for all our tours.
You can simply:
- show your confirmation or ticket on yoursmartphone,
- ensure your phone ischarged and your email or voucher is accessible at the meeting time.
