- What is included in the tour price?
The tour includes:
- Pick-up and drop-off (only in the western part of Paris) or a meeting point option.
- Small group transfer in a comfortable air-conditioned minivan.
- Services of an experienced driver-guide.
- Priority access tickets to Monet’s House and Gardens.
- Informative video about Monet and Giverny during the transfer.
- Is the tour suitable for people with reduced mobility?
Unfortunately, this tour is not suitable for individuals with reduced mobility, as it involves uneven surfaces and walking distances. It is also not wheelchair accessible.
- Are food and drinks included?
No, food and drinks are not included in the tour price. However, there are several restaurants in Giverny where you can enjoy a meal at your own expense.
- Can I get picked up from my hotel?
Yes, pick-up is available, but only for hotels located in the western part of Paris (districts: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 16). For other areas, we recommend meeting at the designated meeting point.
- What happens if I’m late for the pick-up?
If you arrive late, the tour will proceed without you, and your booking will be considered a “no show.” Unfortunately, no refunds or rescheduling will be offered in such cases.
- Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, cancellations are possible:
- For individual bookings (up to 7 people): Free cancellation is available more than 48 hours before the event.
- For group bookings (8 or more people): Free cancellation is available more than 7 days before the event.
Cancellations outside of these timeframes will incur a 100% fee.
- How long is the travel time to Giverny?
The travel time from Paris to Giverny is approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions.
- Is there a live guide at Giverny?
No, this tour does not include a live guide or audio guide at Giverny. You will have free time to explore Monet’s House and Gardens at your own pace.
- Do you provide skip-the-line access?
Yes, priority access is included; however, please note that security checks may cause minor delays.
- Can I book a private group tour?
Yes, private group tours are available for groups of 8 or more. Cancellation policies apply (free cancellation up to 7 days before the event).
- Are entrance fees to the Musée des Impressionnistes included?
No, entrance fees to the Musée des Impressionnistes are not included in the tour price.
- Is the tour safe in terms of COVID-19 precautions?
Yes, we follow strict COVID-19 safety protocols, including:
- Masks required for guides in public areas.
- Equipment sanitized between uses.
- Social distancing enforced throughout the experience.
- Can I book the tour if I am traveling alone?
Yes, solo travelers are welcome to book the tour. However, we only offer pickups at the meeting point in the 7th district for solo reservations. Please contact us directly if you wish to reserve as a solo traveler.
- How far ahead do I need to book a tour?
We recommend booking your tour as soon as possible, as availability is limited and spots fill up quickly, especially during peak travel seasons.
- Can I store my luggage in your office or car?
No, for security reasons, including precautions against theft and other potential risks, it is not possible to store luggage in our office or in the car during the tour. We recommend arranging luggage storage at your hotel or at a dedicated storage facility in Paris prior to the tour.
- Are tickets included in the price of the tour?
Yes, tickets to Monet’s House and Gardens with priority access are included in the price of the tour. However, tickets to the Musée des Impressionnistes are not included and can be purchased separately if desired.
- Can I bring children without a reservation?
No, all participants, including children, must have a reservation to join the tour. This is required to comply with insurance regulations for transportation services, similar to airline procedures. It ensures group size limits are maintained and provides the best experience for everyone. Please make sure to include children when booking your tour.
- Do I need my passport?
Yes, you must bring your passport or a valid form of identification with you during the tour. This may be required for insurance purposes, entry verification, or preferential ticket rates based on age.
- Can I eat or drink in the car?
No, eating or drinking in the car is not allowed. Due to previous issues with stains and messes left by some clients, it is no longer possible for drivers to clean thoroughly between tours to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for the next guests.
